In the map view, you can set markers that will show the distance from your location to the measurement marker (available in the Advanced Hunter package and up). This is a handy feature when measuring distances to visible objects in the area (e.g. ditch, barn, road).
In the map view you can also check the current and forecasted direction of wind (hours and days visible below the map) and the scent of the user. These features are available in the Advanced Hunter package and up. The scent direction is illustrated with open triangle. In the example picture the wind is blowing in the direction of 3:30.
